Ridley
Scott's films run the gamut from Science Fiction, to Drama to Comedy. One of Ridley Scott's most
commercially successful films was Gladiator in 2000. The film won the
Academy Award for Best Picture. One movie that we
really like that didn't get the press of some of Scott's other
movies is Matchstick Men starring Nicholas Cage. Not a large
commercial success, Matchstick Men is highly entertaining and Nicholas
Cage is brilliant as a con artist that struggles with an obsessive
compulsive disorder. Other Ridley Scott movies that we have enjoyed
include Black Hawk Down, Blade Runner,
and Alien.
