John Woo Directed Movies

John Woo was the first Asian director to helm a major Hollywood Film. Woo was a leader in the Hong Kong Action renaissance of the late 1980's. Face Off starring John Travolta and Nicholas Cage was fun John Woo film. Mission Impossible II was also a major commercial success. While Windtalkers with Nicholas Cage was somewhat of a disappointment. John Woo's films are characterized by great action sequences that have a ballet-like quality to them.
