Doris
Day was one of the most prolific Hollywood actresses throughout the
50s and 60s. Doris Day's most famous movies include Calamity
Jane, Pillow Talk, and The Man Who Knew Too Much (Jimmy
Stewart). Doris was an excellent dancer and had a great singing
voice. As a result, she had her own television show The
Doris Day Show which ran in the late 60's and early
70s after Day decided not to continue to act
in movies. Day often was in movies with Rock
Hudson
. There also was
another actress named Doris Day that had some movie roles in the
early 40s.
