We all want to save money and a great way to save money and help the environment is to use less gas. One way to do this is to track your gas mileage and understand how much gas you are using and how you can get better gas mileage. Gas Mileage MPG Tracker is a software program designed to help you understand and hopefully improve your gas mileage and miles per gallon.
Gas Mileage Tracker helps to track your overall gas mileage but also highway and city gas mileage separately. Each individual fill-up is catalogued including number of gallons, price per gallon, date of fill-up, miles driven, and the predominant type of miles driven (city or highway). The software will then keep a running average of statistics like city/highway MPG (miles per gallon), overall MPG, total miles and city/highway miles. This will help you understand the type of driving you are mostly doing and how that affects your MPG.

There is no limit by the software on number of cars can be tracked using Gas Mileage Tracker. Fuel economy for each car can be tracked and the MPG and overall driving characteristics. The software has a report feature that can print out the gas mileage information on each car. A blank report can also be printed so you can quickly jot down the information for a given fill-up at the gas station and then enter the data into your computer once you are home.

You could also use the program to track driving styles and conservation methods. For example, keep your gas mileage for a few weeks with your normal style of driving, then make the effort to try and drive conservatively for a few weeks and compare. Try things like accelerating slower, driving slower on the highway, letting off the gas earlier when approaching a stop, and keeping your tires properly inflated. Then see how much fuel and money you are saving.
