Description:
DV Mixer Pro lets you use your personal computer as a
complete streaming digital video mixer, scheduler and encoder
system. With DV Mixer Pro you can get excellent results without
expensive, dedicated video switching equipment. The background
technology identifies and characterizes the components, interfaces,
and protocols. This includes the streaming video/audio
decoding/encoding/trans-coding, multi source transition, digital
effects and insertion functions that enable input video source and
objects to communicate in a distributed environment, and three
categories of interfaces:

Real Media, DV, AVI, and MPEG1 & 2 files real time Encode/Trans-code
to WMV (ASF), RM, Quick time and MPEG4 files and re-delivery the video
source.
Transition effects & insertion functions - caption,
title, ad, and logo in text, image and animation basis insertion
Remote controllable based on the network protocol and
FIREWIRE (i.LINK)
